Manchester United will demand Robert Lewandowski in any offer Bayern Munich make for Anthony Martial, according to reports.
Martial’s future at Old Trafford remains uncertain as Jose Mourinho is willing to sell the France international, but United’s hierarchy want him to remain at the club.
The 22-year-old has less than a year remaining on his current contract, although United have the option to extend that for a further 12 months.
Chelsea and Arsenal are keen on a deal for Martial, while Bayern Munich are also interested.
According to The Sun, Jose Mourinho remains a huge admirer of Lewandowski and has already tried to bring the Poland international to Old Trafford.
Should Bayern push to sign Martial before the end of the transfer window next Thursday, United will want Lewandowski included in the deal.
‘Bayern are still keen and United have been after Lewandowski for a long time and want him,’ a source close to United told The Sun.
‘His agent is close to Jose and United and he is keeping them both in the loop along with Real Madrid.’
